These general terms and conditions of sale relate to the ticketing activity set up by Hangar located at Place du Châtelain 18 Kasteleinplein, 1050 Brussels, Belgium, with VAT number BE 0460 076 938.
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted the general terms and conditions of sale, which serve as an agreement.
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all ticket sales conducted by Hangar or to the associated activities through its website, insofar as no derogations are agreed therefrom by way of specific contract clauses agreed between Hangar and the customer. The customer shall consequently not be in a position to invoke the application of its own general or specific terms and conditions, even where the latter set out that they are the sole terms and conditions that apply.
Only payments in euros will be accepted. Depending on the tickets, different payment methods can be accepted. Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), debit cards (Bancontact, Maestro). After payment, the ticket is sent to the e-mail address provided by the customer. Printing is the responsibility of the customer. Each ticket has a unique identification code, and must be shown at the entrance of the exhibition space.
Once paid, no right of withdrawal applies.
Reasons beyond our control may cause the programme or the timetable to be changed. Where possible, any such changes shall be announced on our website and our social media. Where dates and/or locations are cancelled or changed, we shall notify you in writing (e-mail), where possible. No such changes shall constitute grounds for refunds or swaps, except if the event is cancelled.
Hangar waives all liability for:
- event cancellations or postponements
- all programme changes
- changes to an event’s timetable
The ticket beneficiary must comply with the regulations and the customs of the exhibition space, regardless of the exhibition or event.
Hangar reserves the right to refuse people access to the building for safety reasons.
We reserve the right to cancel all events or to deny access to the exhibition space where we are forced to do so as a result of uncontrollable events or instances of force majeure such as (without this list being limited) bad weather, strike fire, water damage, specific measures imposed by the authorities as part of the fight against terrorism, etc. In such cases, we shall propose another date insofar as possible.

Hangar reserves the right to reserve certain spaces at its building for private events. Under such exceptional circumstances, Hangar undertakes to make every effort to keep the impact of this private use down to a minimum.
The customer undertakes to provide his current, complete and up-to-date details when ordering tickets. It is important that the personal data provide are accurate to enable Hangar to notify the customer of any changes in the programme. The said personal data may be kept on record to ensure the proper delivery of services by Hangar (read our Legal notices).
A strict smoking ban is in place throughout Hangar's spaces.
No drinks or food are allowed inside the exhibition space.
Your contact details enable us to keep you informed of our activities and to notify you of any programme changes. For our hardcopy (paper) publications and digital publications, please notify us of any changes of address/email or to let us know you no longer wish to receive them by e-mailing us at contact@hangar.art.
Tickets must be shown on request. Tickets are neither taken back nor refunded (in case of loss or theft), neither swapped nor resold. Customers are prohibited from reselling or transferring the tickets for commercial purposes. Where a rebate applies, Hangar reserves the right to ask the customer to provide proof of the discount.
The printed versions of e-tickets purchased or e-tickets presented on the customer’s smartphone shall be accepted upon entering the exhibition space.
Where a ticket has been reprinted, only the last version of the ticket shall be accepted.
Hangar’s liability shall be limited to the cover available under its insurance policies.
The present general terms and conditions of sale govern the entirety of the contractual relationships between Hangar and the customer, to the exclusion of the buyer’s general terms and conditions. All and any amendments, derogations or additions to the present general terms and conditions of sale must be laid down in a written agreement. Hangar shall be within its rights to amend the contents of its general terms and conditions of sale and of its vendor sites at any time, and without prior written permission. The amendments shall apply from the time they are published on the website, unless otherwise agreed. Relations between Hangar and the customer shall be governed solely by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be exclusively heard by the courts of the legal district of Brussels as the sole courts of competent jurisdiction.
